Markets

Among the many Forex reviews we conducted, Markets.com was one of the best. Here is our Markets.com review.
Before we actually get into the details of the Markets.com review, I think it is safe to say that when your broker invests so much time and resources in branding themselves with a name like Markets.com, chances are the broker is here to stay in the game.
The first thing I like to look at when reviewing a broker is the website, after all, that is the first impression I get and we all know how important first impressions are. Markets.com is an intuitive, user friendly, informative website if I ever saw one. That says a lot about the Markets.com Forex broker.
The site is designed well and all the information one needs is clearly marked and easily located. Some of the important things you will notice right away on the home page of Markets.com is that you can open a real account or a free practice account with $100,000 demo money. You will also notice a very well made video tutorial of how to use the various trading platforms offered by Markets.com.
Getting a little deeper into the Markets.com review and trading experience, a trader can easily deposit funds via credit card, bank transfer, or Web money. Pretty simple, although I was surprised to see no Paypal option.
Moving along, the Markets.com Forex broker provides the infrastructure for the trader to trade indices, gold, oil, stocks, commodities, and of course currencies.
In terms of the trading itself, Markets.com offers a pretty standard 200:1 trading leverage and decent spreads for the majors. I have to mention though that some of the spreads listed for other pairs reached levels of 300 pips, but only for very rare currency pairs.
A nice unique feature I have rarely seen before is the ability to choose between fixed or dynamic (floating) spreads. Markets.com leaves that decision up to the trader and that is one thing that separates the Markets.com Forex broker from the rest.
When it comes to the trading platforms, Markets.com also displayed complete flexibility. They offer two separate downloadable platforms, one being the market standard mt4, one Web-based trading environment, as well as a mobile platform. Markets.com said they are working on a full fledged mobile trading platform for iPhone and iPad, but for now, the site just offers a Wap URL to access from your mobile device.
Moving along, our Markets.com review revealed a rich portfolio of Forex information including Forex news, signals, and an economic calendar. The site also offers some basic Forex education as well as market analysis, both technical and fundamental.
Contrary to many other brokers, Markets.com makes it completely seamless to contact them. There are phone numbers, emails, and even an instant chat right from the home page, although to be honest, I am still waiting for a response from the chat representative and it has been quite a few minutes.
Markets.com has offices in Russia, Poland, Romania, France and Germany, with additional local offices set to open in the coming months. The site, according to the company currently serves clients from over 100 countries in 13 languages.
Markets.com is EU regulated under CySEC (092/08) and registered with such global regulatory authorities as the FSA and other EEA financial licensing bodies.
Markets.com was recognized by the Middle-East Forex Expo and named 2010’s Fastest Growing Broker Award.
All in all, Markets.com seems like a very reliable broker and one that you can trust your hard earned money with, although I would still like it if the chat representative would answer me.
